Any consumer or home owner being pressured or harrassed by a lender or collection agency would be wise to contact an attorney. In some cases, the underlying loan may be a predatory loan or an illegal loan, and it may make sense to fight the battle in court.

Numerous lending programs, from student loans to mortgage loans and second mortgage loans, especially from sub prime lenders, are coming under increasing scrutiny and consumers should be vigilant in defending their rights and not simply throwing additional money at a bad loan.

Most predatory mortgage lending is done with sub prime loans, or loans which are provisioned for people with less-than-perfect credit history. Unfortunately, predator lenders have exploited these consumers who don't have much knowledge about mortgage loans.
