With Prom season underway, many schools are taking a hard line with students to prevent underage drinking.
Now rather than simply telling students not to drink and drive, the schools are resorting to breathalyzers and realistic demonstrations of the effects of drunk driving.

Some schools are requiring students undergo a breathalyzer test before entering the prom. Others are staging simulated crashes, complete with actors and medical helicopters so that students see the reality that is the consequences of driving drunk.

Its good to see that schools are now taking such a proactive stance on drinking. By instituting educational programs and zero tolerance, we can keep the number of drunk drivers down on the roads.
