    In follow-up to my blog posting concerning Children and Anesthesia, the dentist who was treating a 5 year old girl when she lapsed into a coma has been suspended from practicing and his office shut down given his conduct.. The dentist faces charges including gross malpractice.

    In Chicago recently, a young girl went into a coma during a routine dental visit. The incident occurred shortly after the 5 year old was sedated with anesthesia.
