Man Dies and Woman Seriously Injured in Car Crash in Ravenna, Ohio

In yet another tragic car accident a Cleveland area man has been killed and a two women injured Saturday afternoon in Ravenna, Ohio.

Tony Lane, 52, of Ravenna, was driving east at 11:16 a.m. on Ohio 303 east of Diagonal Road when he went left of center, according to the Ravenna Post of the State Highway Patrol. Lane's Chrysler Eagle sideswiped the left side of a pick-up truck heading west on Ohio 303 then hit a car that was behind the pick-up head-on.

The injured women involved in the collision were taken to the hospital. One remains in critical condition. A third driver was not hurt. There has been no explanation released as to why Lane crossed center and caused this crash. The matter remains under investigation.
