An Akron man was sentenced to prison for a DUI crash that left one child dead and another paralyzed for life. The senselessness of the crash and the lifetime consequences for the vicitim of the DUI driver created a tragically emotional courtroom scene. So often the cruel irony is that the DUI driver walks from the crash virtually uninjured while the innocent victims suffer life altering injuries.

Outraged members of the community, who have tired of DUI offenders who just refuse to get the message are encouraged to contact Mothers Against Drunk Driving at www.madd.org to support their efforts and mission to prevent future tragedies.
